-founder of global justice club (spreads awareness about human rights injustices)
-President of Best Buddies (club that promotes friendships with students with disabilities)
-Honor Society treasurer
-mock trial
-selective journalism program at Columbia university
-6 week trip to israel that focused on community service and cultural immersion
-Trip across united states that focused on politics and activism
-led 40 student lobbying trip to DC to lobby for Iran Sanctions (wrote a petition that we got 4000 people to sign)
-natural helpers
-Devised an independent study with my principal about the American presidency</p>

<p>**Also, I am a legacy…will this impact my decision? Or will i get in not because of legacy?</p>

<p>But in reality, you have a very, very good chance. just keep in mind that, for everyone, deferral is still most likely.</p>

<p>Your academic stats are awesome, legacy boost should help, ED, and I think you have good ECs. You have a good shot, but with Brown you never really know! Good luck :)</p>

<p>ED deadline is waaaay past</p>

<p>Why shouldn’t they write the Israel thing? Is this the typical “don’t look like a spoiled rich kid” thing?</p>

<p>I often wonder if I should mention a three week stay with a family in Germany (speaking German) in my college applications. I suppose it’s different in that I don’t claim to have done “service and multiculturalism and rainbows!” What do you guys think?</p>
