<p>Can anyone translate this GPA system for me into a 4pt scale? Your APs and SAT are not particularly impressive, so I think your GPA will be a deciding factor. College could care less about your team involvement, honestly. Same goes for the volunteer work. If your essay was impressive and that GPA is equivalent to more than a 3.6 unweighted…then I give you a good chance. Plus UC system wants out of state people to pay higher fees and take care of the education budget…so you may get better chances.</p>

<p>What was your UC GPA? I think UCD is averaging close to 4.0 now. Number of A-Gs, leadership EC’s, and APs matter, and essay is also part of it.</p>
