<p>I take it you have a backup plan? With a below average GPA and SAT at all of these, you need a safety. UCSB and UCI are not out of the question but must be considered reaches.</p>

<p>I agree completely with Waverly, and even if you get 2100+, it will not guarantee that you get into any of those UCs because it is somewhat of a red flag when people have such a big discrepancy between GPA and SAT. However, since you have good ECs, if you get a high SAT and can explain your low GPA in your essays, then you have an okay chance for UCSB and UCI.</p>

<p>I think you need to get you SAT score up, first and foremost. Then , focus on raising your GPA a bit. THen, these schools become low reaches for you. Chance back.
