<p>while you ACT score is a bit below the average for both Grinnell and Carleton, being from California will probably help you at both. And your ECs are impressive. If you are serious about those schools, you may want to contact the admissions offices about interviews. They have alums in your area who will do interviews. Good luck!</p>
