<p>Melvine07 when you mentioned above that " a 3.8 from a community college is no good" I thought maybe you’ve had personal experiences with all the community colleges in the the US to usher such a blanket characterization.</p>

<p>in california that is definitely non existent.
If UCB saw your transcripts i honestly do not know how they would react to the grading system.</p>
