<p>Vandy wants to know that you will be part of the community. They want to know that you are a leader.</p>
<p>Also, there really aren’t any fat people. Somehow, Vandy picks “healthy and fit” hs students lol. So I guess the only way they can do this is by looking at your sports so you are set there. </p>
<p>For my essay to Vandy, I had a sappy story about my grandmother. Many people have this sappy story deal. Also, I mentioned I wanted to continue into grad school. I mentioned a specific program I was interested in. Vandy wants to know you have done research on their school.</p>
<p>Just so you know, my ACT average was a 21. I really think they want the whole package person that will contribute to the school. It is not based on grades as much as you think.</p>
