im a musician, and im trying out for 7 music conservatories, BUT some part of me prompted me to apply for stanford, since it had been my dream school before i decided to pursue music.

i dont have strong grades in school at all; i took all honors and APs but i wouldnt go to class so i could practice and would come in only to take tests. i'd study in my own free time.

STATS:
GPA: 3.91 W, 3.39 UW. (ew)
SAT composite:2140
AP distinguished scholar
5s on ap music theory and ap language
4 in calc ab
3s in ap euro and apush :(
i went to a arts boarding school, north carolina school of the arts, for freshmen year
i went to my public high school for the next two years
and now im home schooled senior year. so i dont have a class rank.

HOWEVER, i do feel that im a talented musician. i have a strong artistic resume in my opinion, which includes things for violin, composition, and piano. im doing a live audition for violin and i sent in an art supplement with tracks of two of my latest compositions:

here are youtube links to one of them:
YouTube - Orisinal

i also feel like my essays werent run of the mill.
and i also feel like an applicant with a situation and background like me isnt really expected at stanford, and i wonder if that will help me or hurt me.

i understand that stanford takes AMAZING people and the most qualified people i know have been rejected EA but i also spent a week at stanford and literally lived in the dorms with the students for 5 days, and they assure me that my violin playing will get me into stanford (after a week of having to hear me practice in the dorms). they say that stanford truly likes angular people, and grades arent everything, which is what ive started seeing reading the threads on college confidential.

does anyone have any advice/opinion?
SORRY for the long post!! and good luck to everyone!!
