Chance a richmond scholar semifinalist for admission

Hi,

I am an International student.

SAT Score - 2150 ( M 700, CR 730, W 720 )

GPA - Almost 4.00

ECs - https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B7Ef0RM0dDshbjJFMnhFYjNPVVk

Essays - Rather long but I wrote them straight from my heart.

LORs - Very good

I have qualified for the Richmond Scholars Semifinalist. *CHANCE ME for acceptance.*

If you are a Richmond Scholars Semifinalist I would say you are pretty much guaranteed acceptance.

I hope so… I really hope so…

University of Richmond is one of my most favourite college.

Good luck for admission & the finalist round :)

@bluelovexD - I have heard in many forums and blogs that Richmond scholar semifinalists get accepted to UR if something doesn’t deteriorate drastically, but since I am a re-applicant and UR already has my final grades so can I expect a good news come March?

You were one of only 450 people selected to apply for the university’s highest scholarship, I think it’s implied that you’re accepted.

According to admissions staff, last year about 700 were selected as semifinalists…

My bad, I didn’t check the most recent numbers. Either way, I think it’s a sure sign of an admission offer.

@irishbrigade: I was a semifinalist last year, and in an email to us they said 470 semifinalists were selected…
Which admission officer is this?

I agree with bluelovexD, when I had emailed UR in November regarding the scholars program, they told me less than 500 were selected last year and the same will be followed this year. Even the Richmond scholars blog states that around 500 are selected, 700 are too many!
