Thank you!

The biggest problem with threads like this is so much of this is up to chance. What if you get a few B’s in junior year? What if you run into some unexpected struggles in the SAT? What if you have a rough time with the SAT II’s and end up with 720’s in 780’s (the Math I SAT II, for example, has a reputation for being particularly challenging - since it’s so easy it has no curve and getting only 1 question wrong can drop you to a 780).

If, magically, all of this managed to come together then of course you would be a very compelling candidate to UPenn, especially taking legacy into consideration. However, I wouldn’t worry about this now – focus on your junior year and getting all of that pesky testing down!

Thank you for your feedback, verilytrue. I do understand that much of this and other threads of the same type are up to chance because an entire school year before applying is left to speculation and estimation. However, these are rather realistic goals, and of course I will work as hard as I can to make them a reality. Also, I plan on taking Math II as well for SAT II, but I forgot to put it up there. Oops. Thank you!
