Gender: Male

Race: Half asian, half european...so other?

Schools I would love to go to:

Stanford, Cal, MIT, Carnegie, Michigan, Georgia Tech, USC, Caltech, Princeton, UIUC, Cornell, WashU, Duke

As for now, I really think I will be some sort of Math/Science major, most likely engineering.

GPA: 4.0UW, 4.5W

taken one of the most rigorous class loads at my school, 3 honors classes as a sophomore, advanced math/foreign language/science. will have 3APs 1H next year, and most likely 4APs senior year.

scores:

SATI: 800M, 650CR, 700W (I haven't actually taken the real thing, but many practice tests and a class. I'm looking to take ACT instead for colleges as the CR and W are no longer improving too much for me)
SATII: 790 Math IIc, 740 Chem (will take Physics next year, but I wonder if I should retake these...)
ACT: 32 (first try with an official ACT practice). (36 in math, weaknesses in Reading/English)

EC:
(just a general idea of it all...not everything really)
Marching Band 4 years, leadership positions for 2 (if it continues for senior year)
Honor/state band
Band international trips
JV Tennis 2 years, we'll see about the next 2
Tennis coaching outside of school (community service)
Many "excellence" awards in subjects
top 14% in the national concours
summer internships, will try for one related to engineering next summer

You can probably go to a really good school of your choice if you keep your GPA that high up there. If you do well on the SAT’s and all and score over a 2300 it’s basically securing you a definite spot, even over 2200. If your planning on doing engineering, you should look at Purdue. I’m sure if your grades are that high up there and all, you might be able to get the Presidential Scholarship at Purdue which is the full-ride scholarship.
