Chance a rising senior for architecture schools

<p>Hi! I am a rising senior that will be applying to architecture schools next year. I currently attend a suburban semi-competitive high school in KY who averages an ACT score of 21. I am looking at applying to the following schools: Rice, U of Cincinnati, U of Kentucky, Carnegie Mellon, Pratt, Temple, Drexel, Cornell, Cooper Union, and Pennsylvania University. </p>

<p>Anyway, here are my stats;</p>

<p>ACT: 36
SAT: Will be taking June 4
SAT Subjects: English (800), Physics (Will take), Math 2(Will take)</p>

<h1>Of APs I will graduate with: 11</h1>

<p>GPA I will most likely graduate with: 4.2, possibly a Salutatorian, and school does not rank </p>

<p>Slated Senior Year:

Teacher Aid for Art teacher, no credit</p>

<p>APs taken in 9th and 10th grade:
Human Geo (2) and World History (5)</p>

<p>Extracurriculars: Art Club (10th-12th), NHS (11th-12th), NAHS, president 11th and 12th (10th-12), BETA Club (9th-12th), Service Club (9th-12th), founder and president of my school’s literary club (11th-12th)</p>

<p>Awards: Studio Art award (10th), AP English, AP Art History, and AP Studio Art awards (11th), 3 art pieces received gold keys at regional scholastic competition, all went to nationals and one received a gold key. I also got 1st at a regional state competition which has been submitted to the state level. I might also get a AP Scholar award. </p>

<p>Summer Programs: participated in an art institute for my county in 9th grade, received high school credit for it, and will be participating in a selective architecture program for KY this summer.</p>

<p>Extras: I have held a job since the summer of 10th grade. I will also probably get great recommendations and submit good essays. Also, I will also be submitting a art portfolio to all the colleges. I am also declaring the need for financial aid; parent’s income is less than 55k. </p>
