<p>I would say that you are a match for most of those schools. The only ones I would consider reaches are Carnegie Mellon, Northwestern, Cornell, and Georgetown. Your volunteer work is great and should help you. It could also be tough to get into Ross direct admit, but you should get into UMich. UCLA is getting tougher to get into and they are starting to take more OOS students (same with Berkeley). I have a feeling that you will get into at least one of the schools I considered reaches, and with good essays you’ll get into most of them.</p>

<p>Thank you! Ross is indeed difficult as a business major. Of the reaches you have listed, attending any one of them will be a dream. But of course it is important to find safeties and matches that I will love as well which is difficult. Yeah UCLA, UCB, and even UCSD have been rising in competition. With financial problems, the UC system can’t really be predicted.</p>

For Cornell, would chances increase if I applied ED?
Also in comparison to Haas and Stern, how rigorous and rewarding is an undergraduate degree in business at Cornell?</p>

<p>I think you’re in really good shape for Georgetown and Cornell as well and applying ED there would probably help you out seeing as the admit about 1/3 of applicants who apply ED. UC Berkeley seems like a little more of a reach than Cornell, but your scores are excellent and ECs are really well-rounded (FBLA is definitely a good thing to have when applying for business).
