<p>Middlebury</p>

<p>Overall UW GPA: 3.59 (3.22 freshman year, 3.64 sophomore year, 3.89 junior year. My overall will be higher by the time of application seeing as my awful freshman GPA has completely ruined my overall GPA.)</p>

<p>My school doesn't release class rank</p>

<p>SAT Score (first try... retaking in the fall again): 2010... 680 CR, 640 math, 690 writing</p>

<p>SAT IIs: (absolutely awful... got scores back today.) Spanish 540 Literature 590 (was a really, really bad day... don't even want to get into it. Only school that requires them is Vassar.)</p>

<p>APs: Government (currently taking as junior... think I got a 4 on the exam), Spanish Language, English Language, European History, Environmental Science</p>

<p>Potential hook(?): gay male (may mention it in my essay... unsure as mentioning seems to be bordering on cliche nowadays)</p>

<p>I'm aware of how terrible my SAT II scores are. Just got the results back today... would you guys say it's more or less impossible to get into Vassar with those Subject Test scores?</p>

<p>None of them are really fit or safe schools for you, except American and maybe Bard (idk what bard is).</p>

<p>Do you have any actual hooks? Do not use that you are homosexual. Nothing wrong with being gay, but that’s not a hook. And it’s also still a controversial topic, so i’d stay away from that. God forbid you apply to a school and the admissions officer is a staunch gay-hating person, and yes they sadly exist.</p>

<p>My school’s naviance lists me as either well above the schools average stats (American) or just at, slightly below or slightly above (Skidmore, Bard, NYU, GWU).</p>

<p>And any other significant hooks? Not really.</p>

<p>Bring up them SAT scores. Or try the ACT’s! Oh and where are you from? If no one in your area attends those schools…you have better chances.</p>
