Chance a Rising Senior From Florida

Hey

Im trying to decide if its worth it applying here.

Weighted GPA: 4.7115
Unweighted GPA: 3.61
SAT: 710 Writing
680 Math
640 Reading (or whatever its called)

I've gotten 5's on all AP's (Calc AB, APUSH, Human Geo, Psych and Spanish)

Senior year, Im taking AP Chem, AP Gov, AP Econ, AP Environmental, and Dual Enrollment Stats

I've shadowed a doctor and plan to major in business with a pre-med track.
Captain of soccer team and varsity waterpolo since freshmen year

Also started my own business and hold a job at collections

What do you guys think?

my son is rising senior in Florida as well, who will also probably apply to Vanderbilt.

I think you have a shot, if you raise your critical reading score.

My son raised his critical reading score from a 730 to an 800 with zero studying, so mere familiarity with the exam alone will help you.

See if Vanderbilt superscores. If they do, make it your JOB to raise that CR score.

Your AP grades are impressive, and your soccer team experience (something my son does not have) is a good EC.
