Ok. So, you already know your grades are spectacular. Beyond where they need to be. Your ECs are also great. So those are both really good. The problem here is your test scores. With Vassar’s SAT average of 2050-2250 you would have to put in some good hard effort to bring it up where it needs to be. I was surprised that you said you wouldn’t submit your ACT scores. Vassar’s ACT range this past year was 28–33 with an total average of 31. If you don’t at least break 2100 on the SAT I would strongly recommend sending your ACT score. Other than that! I think you have a good chance of getting into Vassar. Being male helps. Your odds would greatly improve if you applied ED. My only advice is (and I’ve said it before) is be yourself. Write personal essays from the heart, don’t try to fit it into a formula (but you indicated that you’re a pretty good writer what with the award and all so this shouldn’t be a problem). And I strongly recommend doing the “your space” submission. It’s a really good way to demonstrate a unique side of you they might’ve missed–give them another reason to want you. Plus is demonstrates that you’re really interested in attending. Good luck!

I second all Hbananah said - and good luck!

Am I missing something? Isn’t the OP’s SAT I already above 2100?

Yeah its 2140, the writing saved me

lol. wow. forgive my inadequate mathematical skills. That’s why I shouldn’t do anything at midnight. Sooo disregard the SAT stuff. You are good to go! My estimate: very good chances indeed.
