--
I know it will probably be hard to gain admission seeing how only a few (13%) of attending students have a GPA below 3.0. But will my being Asian (3% of attending are Asian) help me out somewhat in admission?

Your GPA might be too low. Your SAT score is also low. 1800 would be much better, as I think its around the average. I’m not sure.

My high school GPA was a 2.9, but I somehow managed to get in. I got around an 1800 on the SAT.

I have no idea if being Asian will help you. Clark LOVES diversity, but I have always been under the impression that they love international students more.

yes the average sat reported score is around 1800 and to be honest you need to bring one of them up. Having both high GPA and high SAT is best, but having high one of them is better than lower average for both. So try to bring one of them up at least

race doesn’t really come into consideration THAT much so don’t rely so much on that. Plus the 3% asian also includes international asians too I think.

You still have time so work on bringing your SAT scores up and good luck!

you honestly have less than a 25% chance of getting in. but keep trying!
