I volunteer at the MET and will be volunteerin the FIERI which is another non porfitable italian american organization. Every year I ahve gone to italy and have helped raised fundraisers in my town due to the lack of neccesties and due to the lack of money there is. For instance, soon there will be no longer be a pastor in the town since there is no money and everyone is moving out. Each year I raise fundraisers for the club that we have in New york that is made up of a majority of the people who are from our town and we send it over. Also I help arrange the feasts for the saints and gatherings at the square. i truly love my italian culture and will always try to spread it.

DO I have a chance? Thank you

Really? You have those scores and those ECs AND you’re a direct legacy, and you even have to ask if you have a chance?

Conclusion: you’re fine.

thank you but you never know…the admissions process is so random nowadays

I agree, but I really do think you’re fine, even irrespective of the fact that you’re a legacy. You’ve got a good GPA, a good SAT score, decent SAT II scores, and an obvious and definite passion for something that obviously isn’t just a resume booster.

yeah you’re in! but quick q…u’re fluent in italian but got a 670?

it seems like you have many activities that are for a politics major. you will be a good a candidate for CAS student. your scores are average, i would prefer 750+ or even 800 to beat compeitition. luckily due to the recession, NYU accepted more students than before though im not so sure if that would happen next year. im not really sure if you are fluent in Italian with that 670. perhaps conversational Italian would fit better.

it was hard each reading isn’t that easy but I am retaking it in the fall so yea thank youuu
