<p>My chance thread’s called “chance a nervous senior” and it’s too much of a coincidence for me not to chance you:) Okay, despite your low freshman grades, your upward trend is good (some schools don’t even consider freshman year grades) What’s your rank though? If that is reasonably high colleges will cut you more slack. Your SAT’s however are excellent, and your URM status is gives you an extra boost for sure. If your national ranking is high enough, are you getting recruited by any schools? Because a URM and athlete, with good stats like yours has a great shot at any schools.
Keep in mind legacy only really plays in your favor if you apply ED. But all that aside, I think your low freshman/sophomore grades are offset by your hooks and good scores.
Chances-wise (I’m no expert) but I think you are a match for all your listed schools.

<p>I’ll admit EC’s aren’t great, but being a URM and having solid SAT scores could get you in most of the schools you listed. I noticed you didn’t list your GPA, but if it’s good, you have a good shot at the schools you listed.</p>
<p>A number of schools do not look at freshman grades; I think Princeton is among them. Your admission prospects will be better with them, so seek them out.</p>
<p>your grades after freshman year look excellent, as does your 2300 SAT. The ivies might give you some trouble in in accepting you, except for maybe Harvard and Penn because you have a legacy. although I do have to say your ECs are rather bleak; if that’s all the ECs you have, you’re likely not gonna get into those top tier schools on your list regardless of your academic stats</p>
<p>Also, some schools might not even look at your freshman grades, so don’t panic too much</p>
<p>Because you are black and have good test scores you have an okay shot at ivies despite freshman/sophomore grades although if you provided rank it would be easier for us to chance you.</p>
