First of all sry about the typo in my thread title..lol as you can tell I didnt invest much type in typing that. But anyway, I do like chance threads. I have just been looking at a few schools and Stanford seems like an outstanding place to go to college. If you could evaluate my app below, it would b appreciated!</p>

<p>does your school have frequent grade inflation or are have you worked hard for those grades? admissions officers know which schools inflate grades or not (not insinuating yours does).</p>

<p>also, find a focus somewhere with ECs</p>

<p>Idk…but I can tell you this much, no one at my school has as high percentage grades as I do. I spend between 6-9 hours a night on homework, so I earn my grades.</p>

<p>Not enough really…though all my volunteer stuff (accept church stuff) took place during the summer.</p>

<p>I’m assuming you are caucasian? But you are from Nebraska, a combination which ethnically puts you at a disadvantage and geographically at an advantage. I don’t know how that would go down.</p>

<p>GPA, rank, and classes are legit.</p>

<p>SAT (if what you say is true) and ACT are good.</p>

<p>FBLA, AcDec, and science club (in addition to volunteer work) seem to be your main ECs. I wouldn’t bother mentioning the others unless they have impacted you, it makes you look like a stacker.</p>

<p>Chances are still a reach though, like with most people.</p>

<p>Ya…I figured it would b a reach. However, is it an almost unattainable reach or do I have a somewhat noticable shot? Ya…I am white. Should I even state my race on my app?</p>

<p>If you don’t state your race that makes it seem (to me, at least) like you have something to hide, and possibly are lying/ommiting stuff in other parts of the app.</p>
