Figured that title might make me stand out a bit?

So, I'm trying to get my final list of colleges. Yesterday I visited Fordham and loved it, I was planning on applying to American before, but now I feel like it's too big of a reach, and I get the feeling I won't like the campus and the vibe as much as at Fordham. I don't want to apply to a million reaches.

I'm from NJ, a female, interested in journalism/communications.

apply to American. It may wind up being expensive because its a very expensive school, and from what i’ve heard, its hard to get merit based aid, but I do think its worth a shot. If you could get your SATs up just a little bit.

Yeah I don’t think I’ll be able to pay for it either way. Thanks for the advice!

I was also thinking about applying to Saint Joseph’s in Philadelphia. Opinions? How are the academics there?
