<p>Hey everyone
I'm a junior in high school in Los Angeles, California.
Had all A's, B's and C's throughout school so far.</p>

<p>Academic GPA (9-12): 3.20
Academic GPA (10-12): 3.4286
Total GPA (9-12): 3.2414
All unweighted (haven't taken any AP classes yet..am taking envi sci ap next year)</p>

<p>SAT:
Reading: 550
Math: 470
Writing: 520
Taking it over again and the ACT in May
Taking Lit and Math 1 subject tests in June</p>

<p>EC's:
Volunteered at an Art Center for the Summer
Internship at local TV station for 3 years (freshman year to present)
Won a couple of awards for video production
Volunteered at a local synagogue for 3 years
Director of a student produced news program
Team member of a solar boat building team (rookie winner last year)</p>

<p>I'm interested in (in order of preference)
USC (i know i know, highly unlikely, am also a legacy there)
Chapman University
UC Santa Cruz
Cal State Long Beach
San Diego State
San Fransisco State</p>

<p>I'm interested in getting into a film or television program wherever i go.
By the time i graduate next year, I will have completed the UC required courses
4 years of math, 3 years of science, 3 years of spanish, 4 years of english, 3 years of history/social studies, and over 4 years of visual arts (video production)</p>

<p>I know my GPA may be lacking, but is there any hope?

<p>I'm sorry, I feel like your stats may be too low for USC. Your test scores may need to improve a little bit, just a little bit, but these schools may be a reality for you.</p>

<p>Chapman University is a middle reach and UC Santa Cruz is a reach.</p>

<p>Santa Cruz is a reach. I got rejected with a 2150 and a 3.3 W GPA.</p>

<p>CSU-Long Beach and SDSU are matches, SFSU is a safety for just about anyone.</p>
