<p>ECs: Research 350+ hours (leukemic stem cells @ top cancer hospital), NHS, Science NHS, Math NHS, Spanish NHS, Latin Club (co-president), Jazz Band, 3 sport varsity athlete all seasons (XC/Swim/Track), VA hospital volunteer (~50 hrs)
-Put a lot of work into my Research project. I was lucky enough to have a great mentor who actually taught me a lot instead of being absorbed in his own work. I even helped him with his own project and we ended up getting published! But yeah my research teachers say the judges will be impressed, but what do they know lol. We'll see!
-Side note: The PI in my lab happens to be very well-known throughout the research community, he has many connections at Harvard and MIT, because the hospital I worked in collaborates with the Broad Institute. In fact, he told me to apply to Harvard!!! :o I got him to write me a letter of recommendation so that should be good.</p>
