<p>NB. Don’t know if it matters, but my father recently passed away and my mother had breast cancer and has since recovered.</p>

<p>I don't really believe in "Chancing" because I'm a 17 year old who doesn't work in admissions.</p>

<p>However, you've got very strong test scores & grades, so you should be in (assuming you get good recs and essays etc).</p>
