CHANCE A STRESSED OUT KID northwestern, nyu, uchicago

Northwestern, uchicago, nyu, madison, u of minnesota
Do i have a good mix of schools here and what are my chances?

Info about myself: Female Asian from Minnesota. Born in Vietnam. Parents never graduated high school. So definitely first generation.

Stats:

GPA: 3.6 UW
Ranking: Top 7% (this is weighted) 50ish/770
ACT: 33 (retaking)
AP Stats: 5
AP us hist: 5
AP world: 4

Senior course load (CIS = college in school. i get credit from u of m for it):

CIS writing
Honors am. lit
AP calc AB
AP Psychology
AP env. science
AP/CIS Gov

Extracurriculars:
Newspaper-editor in chief, columnist for 3 years
Yearbook-senior editor
School Magazine-founder, editor in chief
Writing Center tutor

Those three things are so time consuming, I don't have time for other things

Volunteering:
Teacher aid at elementary school for E.L.L students since 9th grade
Hospital since 8th grade.

Outside of school:
Vietnamese Community of Minnesota volunteer/staff/committee member since I was 10.

Work experience:
Tuxedo shop - 40 hours/week during summer and 20 hours/week during school year.
Tailor shop - 20 hours/week during summer and 15 hours/week during school year.

Letters of recommendation:
Honors Eng/CIS writing teacher
Algebra 2/AP stats teacher

They both know me extremely well.

Notes: I know my GPA is not the greatest and it's definitely holding me back. But my family is really struggling financially. a lot of my income from the tuxedo shop helps in bills and the tailor shop is my uncle's business. we took out a loan from him and i work there to help pay it back. he doesn't do tax forms or anything on it.. so i don't know if i should mention it? Should i address my work situation at all?

and what are my chances?

yeah, I’m kinda expecting harsh criticism
but I have not taken SAT IIs yet, they’re not required. as for my school’s ranking? i have no idea

you should get into NYU, no problem. The northwestern and chicago might be a little harder, but do try. It is not out of your league.
