Although I haven't read the teacher recs themselves, I'm sure they are fantastic. My history teacher really liked me and my math teacher enjoyed how I taught the class how to graph sine waves using Excel (I hope/think she referenced this)

My essay is about how I used to hate visiting my grandfather because he has no modern technology. It was only after his death that I realized I had been blinded by 21st century material possesions. My AP lit teacher said it was an excellent essay and she said she praised it more than she typically praises an essay....

My supplement essay for HYP is about an unethical decision I have made. In 9th grade I let a friend borrow notes on a book we were reading, and got caught. Basically, I go on to say how this negative moment in my life has changed me and in the long run has done more good than any positive event I have had. My whole mindset basically changed since that incident...(I may change this supplement, but I've talked to adcoms and they said that writing one about this topic will not ruin my chances)

Ivies are all reaches (like they are for everyone I am afraid)
I don’t know the other schools admissions wise

Chance me back please

Very well rounded, great numbers, rigorous schedule, interesting EC’s… Ivies are always a reach, but you’ve got as good a chance as anyone. Non-ivy schools that you listed you’ve got a good shot at.

bump10char

bump some more people please!

bump10char chance me for all my schools, pleaze!!!

bumpppppppppppppppppp

your ECs are just all over the place. on paper, it looks like you just did a bunch of activities (especially the stuff you joined in 11th and 12th grade) just for college. theres no real passion shown here. ie, you’re the average ivy applicant, and will probably get rejected. :/

//////</p>

I can’t say I completely disagree with you. To think, once upon a time people would consider me “well-rounded” as apposed to “all over the place.” I’ve tried to show a passion with nature and community service, but who knows if that shines through.

Oh well, c’est la vie.
