Chance a stressed senior for SFS EA?

Hey everyone, I'm applying early action to the School of Foreign Service and I've just been putting the final touches on my essay before I submit them. Any input you have on my chances would be great :)

I will not be declaring a major, but I am dead set on International Affairs or Politics.

My essay is pretty amazing, according to everyone who has read it. Its basically about how I was a dead set engineering student until I went on my Ambassador trip overseas.. My counselor recommendation as well as my recommendation from my German teacher should be very, very good because they both know me very well.

GPA: 3.97 UW, 4.49 W
Rank: 12/~370
Central NJ; Very diverse

SAT I : 1420, expecting an increase on October test
Math: 730
Critical Reading: 690

SAT II 710 Lit; 640 USH; 610 Math IIc
I know these are pretty terrible, but I will not have the opportunity to retake them because of conflicts. Will this hurt my application greatly?

4 – AP Statistics

Took all honors classes throughout high school,
APs pretty strictly limited until you are a senior because of prerequisites
Senior Schedule: AP Macro, AP German, AP Literature, AP Government, AP Calculus, Honors Wind Ensemble, Honors Business Practice

ECs:
- Heavily involved with school music program: Honors level wind ensemble (3 years), Marching band (4 years - Percussion Captain 3 years), Musical pit by audition (3 years)
- Student Government: Class VP elected all four years
- Red Cross Club ~40 hours/year various activities
- National Honors Society: Public Relations Officer; ~4/month through various group volunteer hours
- German Club and Exchange: Treasurer (Junior) Elected Vice-President (Senior)
- German Honor Society ~ tutor struggling language students
- People to People Student Ambassador to Europe*
- Tutoring: about 10hrs/month through sophmore and junior school years
- Swim team (9 and 10)

I have worked 20 - 40 hours a week in the summers since seventh grade at a local farm. More recently, I have worked a ~25 hours weeks through the school year as Front Office Staff in a Physical Therapy Center, in addition I have lifeguarded this summer as well.

You are a serious, competitive candidate for EA at SFS; no more, no less.
I think your ECs and work commitments are interesting, showing commitment and leadership. Your GPA and rank are strong on their face, but those SATs, while solid by any normal standard, are not overwhelming within the GU applicant pool, and your other test scores will not impress.
If, as you say, your essay is a knockout, that will be a big point in your favor.
Good luck.

Your application sounds like it will be pretty strong. Since you are applying EA, you don’t have to send in your Subject Test scores (yet). Georgetown says that they’ll consider your application “in its entirety” without those scores.

Are you sure it’s completely impossible for you to retake a couple of those Subject Tests? While those scores aren’t “bad,” they are below average for Georgetown.

I have National Championships out of state for marching band that I can not miss for November SAT IIs. I am retaking Math II in December though, and probably history again. This time I’ll will have more time to study, as the winter is a slower time with my extracurriculars. Thank you so much  Even though they will not get my scores in time for an early decision, if I am deferred I hope that they help.
