Please Chance me for Johns Hopkins: Biomedical Engineering!

I would really appreciate any feedback, Thank You!

bbbuuuummmmpppp :)

anybody……?

i personally think that u look good, except for that 600 on the SAT II for chem. maybe just not send that and u’ll probably get in? :)

I think JHU requires 2 satII tests. So take something else in place of chem that you know you’ll do good in.

I don’t have any time to take another subject test…If JHU requires 2 (probably does), I’ll have to send it :/

BME has an intense selection process, I would have to say decent chances, though the SATII is going to hurt you especially with BME which is heavy on the Physics, Math, and Chemistry.

Best of luck, Hopkins BME is the very best! :)

Hopefully, if JHU uses the “holistic” process, they might recognize the difference between Honors Chemistry in 10th Grade (A+/A+) and a lower subject test score two years later while taking multiple college courses… I still wish I’d done better, but it’s what I have :/

Thanks! It’s why i’m interested!

Actually, JHU does not require any SAT subject tests, but they do encourage that you send in 3. However, you can still send 1 or 2 in. I’m sending in 2.

hmm….I’m not going to take another, so I guess the choice is to send both scores, or just the math II score. any suggestions?

According to [Johns Hopkins University Office of Undergraduate Admissions - Apply - Standardized Test Requirements](http://apply.jhu.edu/apply/testreqs.html)
“Applicants interested in an engineering major are strongly encouraged to submit scores from the Mathematics Level 2 SAT subject test, at least one science SAT subject test, and one other SAT subject test.”

Although they do not say that you are required to do this, it is strongly recommended.

can’t you take the january test?

nope…

"Regular Decision Freshmen

December
Latest date to take standardized tests…"

the latest jhu accepts is the december test

from [Johns Hopkins University Office of Undergraduate Admissions](http://apply.jhu.edu/)
“Although we cannot guarantee that November (ED) or January (RD) scores will arrive before the Admissions Committee evaluation, past experience suggests that scores taken on these dates usually arrive in time.”

I wouldn’t want to risk it…besides, I’ll have no time to study over christmas (Chicago, Michigan, Texas Family vacation).
