My profile--
Non-Hispanic/White
Male
Resident of San Diego County, CA
No legacy from my parents. Dad went to community college, Mom went to Albany Medical College. Sister is at Chapman, which could help there... but that's an audition school [see below].
No religious affiliation

GPA unweighted: 3.4
GPA weighted: 3.6 (Both this and the unweighted will likely increase when the second-semester grades for this year come in)
ACT with writing (single): 31 (35 English; 34 Reading; 30 Science; 26 Math)
SAT with writing (single): 2150 (780CR 610M 760W)
Seven AP classes under my belt (four down, three this year)
Class rank: 176 out of 614 at a very well-respected public high school-- ranked Silver by US News and World Report, and has the highest graduation rate in San Diego County

Extracurriculars:
Boy Scouts (Life Scout. Too old to make Eagle, unfortunately)
Drama (Big part of the school's drama program, winning multiple awards; varsity letterman; lead roles in the last seven plays I've been in, including a musical)
Football (quarterback, albeit a not very good one)
A few hundred volunteer hours-- mostly accrued with Boy Scouts, though I've also volunteered at a local shelter for stray cats, a wildlife preservation group up in Encinitas (near my home), and done a lot of community service as a special liaison to the Miss Poway/Miss Teen Poway pageant.
Academic Team: Two years JV so far. Voted MVP this year. Will participate on varsity next year.
Choir: Just auditioned into the school's chamber choir at the end of last year. I'm waiting to hear back if I made it into SCVA Southern California Honor Choir; the results don't come in till next week, but I'm optimistic.

Anyways, I'm looking into a variety of schools where admission is largely contingent on how well I perform at auditions later in the year, and a few that aren't. Since it's impossible to predict anyone's audition, I'm just looking to see how good my chances are for the ones where I don't need to audition in as a freshman:

UC Santa Barbara
Southern Utah
UNC Greensboro

What do you guys think? I greatly appreciate this, and I'll be sure to chance back!
