I don’t k ow a lot about those schools, but here’s what I think!

Florida State: in
Fordham: in
NYU: really good chance academically, as far as theatre, they are competitive so work hard and make the best of your audition!
Arizona State: In

ill chance u for what i know
bu- in
nyu- reach but leaning towards in
fordham - in

Thanks guys! Bumped for good luck. :)

I shall not be out-bumped! Still looking for input. Anyone?

GPA could be a little higher, but otherwise you should do pretty well. Even with the GPA you’re still good. If it was higher though i’d say you’d definitely get in.

Yay SD lived there for most of my life before moving.

Anyways.
Your scores are great for all of those except NYU and Boston U (and maybe some others–I don’t know all of the schools, but I know many of them). Your GPA is detrimental, but your EC’s are pretty interesting. Out of all of those schools, I would say you have the best shot at Chapman–I know a few people who go there with worse stats and similarly quirky EC’s (quirky as in the contrast between theater and football). Just reallyyy work on that GPA and take some subject tests!

Thanks Brownford! My sister is studying business at Chapman and she loves it; I’m not similarly sold but it’s hovering near the top of my list nonetheless.

bump

Tried to do my best, as I’m not too knowledgeable on Theater.

All in all, you have a good resume, and you have chosen some very compatible schools

Thanks CBM! I definitely did my homework, but if you know more about any of these schools, please PM me, as I’d love to hear more.

Seems like ya gotta good shot at all the schools ya listed; after all, your ACT score shows you’re pretty competent, so I think most of those schools will take you. Good luck!!! Chance back!!! ;)

U of S match
Cal State LB match

All I know

wow!! i WISH i had your SAT/ACT scores!! like most of the others said, you definitely have a great resume and are in pretty much all of them, except NYU with Tisch is super unpredictable. this doesn’t mean its out of reach cause you DEFINITELY have a great shot at getting in there, but its a low reach. I wish I knew more about theatre/drama, I’d definitely be a bigger help haha.

Is your school really hard academically? If your school has a reputation for being really hard a 3.45 be good! Try bringing it up though, other than that good luck!! :)

Thanks trips! Here’s the stats on my school (they’re a little old; for one, the API has since risen to 857.)

Can I get two BUMPS and a POW-AY?!

help! I’m running out of creative ways to say “bump”

CSULB you could get into with relative ease. FSU would be a little bit harder because of their very good theatre department but I’d be shocked if you didn’t get into FSU. Oh and you could say Speed Bump if you haven’t said that so far.

Thanks you two! Bumped again.

Thanks boniver! I just finished chancing your thread. :)

Oh, and geometrizer-- got you covered too.

Speed bump! (hat-tip naitou01)
