I'm currently a freshman at Boston College, in their honors program (top 5% of applicants to BC). I'm aiming for a 3.7 this semester (so far, I'm on track to get at least that), I scored a 2180 (1480) on my SATS, I was in the top 5% of my high school class. I'm also pre-med with a major in biology. One of my biggest regrets is not applying to Georgetown last year which is why I'm thinking of applying as a transfer.

Thanks for your help.

Your stats are undeniably competitive, and on that basis you stand a solid chance with a good college GPA.That being said, most applicants to Georgetown have the numbers and the Admissions office works exceptionally hard to find distinguishing factors among applicants that set them apart.

i just got my official grades for 1st semester...

I have a 3.878 overall GPA and a 3.975 pre-med GPA

so if you guys have any opinions on my chances, i'd appreciate it

thanks!!

Anyone with a 3.5 or higher is in good shape. Odds are better than 50%. Have a compelling reason to transfer though. Not just US news or whatever.
