<p>hmmm. I don't know much about UNC, but what I do know is that 79% of undergrads are from NC. </p>

<p>You look like you have a good chance though. </p>

<p>buzzards, it's actually slightly higher than that (i'm pretty sure in the 80%-82% range)</p>

<p>class rank would be nice, but I'm betting your school probably doesnt do class rank.</p>

<p>Bringing ACT up to a 34 probably wouldn't help much, except MAYBE with scholarships. </p>

<p>I'm gonna give you a 50/50 shot at getting in, just because OOS admissions is crazy at UNC. If you do get in, I think you'd be a good candidate for the Morehead.</p>

<p>I think you have a decent shot, and raising your act would only help for scholarships, not too much for admission. GL.</p>

<p>thanks yea our school doesnt rank...basically what am i lacking. what is the "X factor" that will turn a 50/50 into a most likely for me? need more ec's, etc?</p>

<p>UNC OOS isn't as hard as most people say it is. I would say you have a really really good shot. I got in wiht a 1380 on the sat/ 4.0 UW GPA/ and pretty good ec's.</p>
