<p>I'm applying to UVA as a transfer student from a public university in PA. I'm a Virginia resident, so I think that will help. I hear UVA is tough on transfer students wanting to get in as sophomore. I said this application is unique because my high school stats are not UVA quality, but by college stats are. Here are my stats:</p>

EC: FBLA, Chorus 4 years, Guitar 2 years (winner of guitar scholarship)</p>

GPA: 3.80 (Dean's List)
EC: Politcal Science Club, Gamer's Club, 15 hrs volunteer work with Obama Campaign.
Letter of Rec. I sent in a excellent REC. from one of my Professors. He put me as one of the top 1% of the students he has ever encountered. (on the Instructor Evaluation)</p>
<p>I know my HS record is weak, but I hope the admission staff will see the improvement. I will shoot for a 4.0 GPA next semester and get even more involved.</p>
