I think I have a good shot at CIT and Tepper, but SCS might be a reach.

will chance back

1) You got rejected from UPenn? Fffff, this means I have no chance.
2) You have pretty high test scores, which CMU likes, good SAT II scores, lots of related experience in one field, some awards. I think you should get into CIT, and SCS is very selective as we well know. With Tepper, you don’t necessarily have related experience, but if your essay is that good, and relates to it well, that could sway them.

Please chance me back!

bump .

anyone…?

I just looked through some posts and realized how hard it is to get into Tepper… I guess I can forget about going there

On the contrary you will probably get into Tepper with your stats.

^Meh… he’s not a shoe-in anymore.
It’ll get harder to get in here than last year (last year Tepper had about a 13% acceptance rate) because the yield went up and our class size was larger than usual.

Now his math SAT is good but his CR is less than 700, he doesn’t have any really good EC’s, his GPA is just average… I mean, overall OP isn’t a bad candidate but frankly he doesn’t stand out in anyway.

^ so are you just talking about Tepper? How about CIT and SCS…?

I was talking about Tepper, but SCS is obviously even harder to get into…

If he cannot get into UPenn or perhaps CMU with two 800 scores and 800 in Math Subject test, what is now considered a potential school for business for someone with these stats? What do you consider strong ECs?
