Cornell is one of the “easier” Ivies to get into (some people say so), but Cornell’s engineering program is quite solid and one of the most sought after!
You have just so manyyyyy ECs , like seriously man
You are a strong applicant, but do you have a certain “spike”?
Even then, you are a good applicant for Cornell. At ED, I’d say you have pretty good chances.
(Assuming your LORs and Essays are strong)
All the best !

Thanks guyinblue
Anybody else? I’ll chance back

And the fact whether you SAT Score is high is for you to determine.
If youve given it thrice (the SATs) then you shouldnt take it again (Might not go well with the Adcoms)
if not, you can give it again. Though i think it’s a fine score :)

And, welcome !

Wallrus… *** is wrong with you? He did absolutely nothing and to bicker about his English is a really low blow. If he really offended you with what he said, then you’re too sensitive my friend.

I don’t normally do chance thread, but seeing how one poster is just being a jerk, I will do this one. I am a Cornell parent with 2 kids there.

OP has solid stats for CoE. His standarized test scores are very good for engineering. His ECs are also very consistent. My kid also had a long list of ECs, she had to group them in order to fit all of them in. If OP wrote very good essays and good LORs then there is a very good chance he will be admitted.

I hope OP knows that it would be very hard for him to get any FA at Cornell, and cost of attendance is 60K USD/yr now.

Woo look I spiked discussion for your thread, you’re welcome.

Thanks a lot

Bump please someone else?
