Chance a worried Stanford reject?

<p>So i didn't get in to Stanford REA. I wasn't really expecting to anyway, but not getting in to the first college i heard back from kinda startled me. I'm applying to Pratt by the way. Here's my info:</p>

Gender: male
Ethnicity: asian (pakistani)
Class rank: 84/1386 (top 5%)
GPA: 4.19 (my school only does weighted)
Best SAT I: 2250, 800 W 740 CR 710 M
SAT IIs: 750 Math 2, 680 Physics (ouch)
Best ACT: 34 composite 10 essay</p>

<p>ECs:
VP of DECA (junior)
President of DECA (senior)
DECA competitor - competed last year, made it to internationals and placed top ten in tests
VP of Psych club (junior)
National honor society for all four years
French national honor society for 9-11
French club member
Played football 9th and 10th
Worked at Kumon, a tutoring place, since summer
Had a tiny internship with a local tech company where i beta tested their software</p>

<p>Awards:
Rotary youth leadership award
selected to attend southwest youth leadership conference
a BUNCH of french competitions. got 2 2nd place and 2 4th place medals at state once
national french exam - placed 7th, 9th, and 9th over three years
my school district does these yearly awards called the board of trustees awards. they're given for doing well in competitions. i've gotten six over the years.</p>

<p>essay: pretty solid. the whole thing was an extended metaphor.</p>

<p>recs: I can't remember if duke required one or two, but the teacher(s) i went to loved me. my counselor was new this year, so i'm not sure how good that rec was.</p>

<p>yup i do.</p>

<p>i’ve taken 4 ap classes, one sophomore year (world hist), three junior year (CS, French, Psych) and i’m taking 2 this year (calc ab and phys b). i’ve taken six honors classes besides that. my transcript shows 42 semesters worth of classes, and i’ve had a 97 or above in 26 of those semesters. everything else is an a, except for one b in one semester of whap.</p>
