I am going to be a senior in highschool right now and i am looking to do accounting and finanace during college.
I have a 3.7 GPA and a 30 ACT i am in a few honors classes and next year i will be taking AP Physics B and AP Macroeconomy and AP Microeconomy. I am also going to take the AP spanish exam in my school to get credit for that.
I can both speak and write in spanish and english fluently ( dont know if that counts for anything )
I am Hispanic
I have about 15 hours of community service tutoring kids
I have worked during the school year as a Pool lifeguard for 2 years
I am currently in a summer internship
I am from Illinois

Im currently interested on going into
- University of Illinois - Urbana
- University of Wisconsin - Madison
- Indiana University - Bloomington
- The University of Iowa
- Marquette University

What are my chances of getting into these schools?
and tips would also be appreciated thanks!

okay ill look into that this summer, it is kind of hard though since with my internship i am doing about 40 hours a week. I could spend time on weekends doing Community service though

If you can raise your ACT, you’ll have a better chance (I live in Illinois, too). Being Hispanic helps, your GPA is good, though you haven’t taken that many hard classes. What is your rank? Top 10%?

Well, that’s unfortunate. A 30 is in the 50% range for U of I, but if you raise your composite a few points, it could make up for your courseload. You’ll probs get in. Good luck.
