Thank you so much for chancing me!

William & Mary - high match
University of Virginia - high match
University of Southern California - low reach
Vanderbilt - reach
Georgetown - reach
Emory - reach
UPenn - high reach
Georgia Tech - match
Texas A&M (Checked website, I’m 99.99% sure I got in) - match
Texas-Austin - match

For Texas A&M, UT-Austin, University of Virginia, Georgia Tech, you can’t be 99.99 percent sure you got in, because these are state schools and you are not a resident of that state, so they will only take you if they have space.

William and Mary-High Match
Vanderbilt-low reach (need 32+)
Emory-Low reach (need 32+)
Georgia Tech-Match
Texas A&M-Match
Texas-Austin-Match
UPenn-High Reach (need 34)
University of Virginia -high match
USC-high match.

Thank you guys for chancing me.
But Colleges00701, I know that I am certain that I got into Texas A&M because on their application check thing it said “Decision Reached. Now respond to your admissions decision.” Which makes me think that they would have let me in the school. Actually, about 30 minutes ago I received my acceptance letter to A&M.

But I know I’ll have a much harder time with the other public schools, especially UVA.

Bumping this up.

Anyone else, please? :)

Got a 32 on ACT now.
31 English, 30 Math, 33 Reading, 33 Science
Superscore:
35 English, 31 Math, 33 Reading, 33 Science= 33.

You are a generally well-rounded applicant.
UVA, Penn, Vanderbilt, and Georgetown should be considered reaches. William & Mary and Emory are targets. Georgia Tech, Texas A&M, and Texas-Austin are most likely safeties.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1060375-what-my-chances.html

Thanks! :)

While that’s true for the Texas schools, it’s not true for Georgia Tech. GT treats in-state and out-of-state the same (though internationals are held to a different standard).

Geometry- B+
Intermediate Algebra- B
Algebra II- B+
Trig- B
Pre Calc- B+

AP CALCULUS - predicted A+ where does that come from?!?!?!?!

Which because of that makes me wonder about other things you are saying.

I had messed up teachers that I complained to the principals and even the Board of Education about. And yes, I made an A+ in Calculus this year. I had a 97 first 6 weeks, 92 second 6 weeks, and 96 second 6 weeks. Then we get 5 points added to our grades.

You wanna know my math history??
-Intermediate Algebra: 1st teacher left. Didn’t know what happened, she just left, we had a sub for two weeks. Then we get another teacher who wasn’t that great.
-Algebra II: I had a softball coach as a teacher. He hit a softball player, and was not a good teacher at all. His exams were not his own, he got them from other teachers. HE GOT FIRED.
-Trigonometry: You won’t believe how much trouble this was. She was the worst teacher on the planet. Her degree was in French! Yes, in French. I struggled through the whole semester and it was the toughest half of year of my life. Don’t believe how hard it was coming from me? Half the class failed, and every single one of those people in that class was college-bound, not to the community college, but the University of Tennessee or beyond. This teacher was bad. She got FIRED as well. Thanks.
-Pre-Calculus: Started off bad because I had terrible teachers in Algebra through Trig. I made it out alive and ok.

And you know what, I saved my own skin by getting tutoring 1-2 times a week. I was one of the fortunate ones.

-This year was different. I have a teacher who was a former Chemical Engineer who got her degree from Auburn, and actually teaches and makes her own tests. And look, I started with tutoring, and managed an A+. I don’t lie. :)

oh, and the grades I predicted are all correct. I have my end of the semester report card in-hand.

William & Mary 40%
University of Virginia 30%
University of Southern California 45%
Vanderbilt 30%
Georgetown 25%
Emory 35%
UPenn 10%
Georgia Tech 50%
Texas A&M (Checked website, I’m 99.99% sure I got in) 80%
Texas-Austin 45%

ok thanks for clearing that up

Thank you meowmccow.

You’ll probably get into GT RD as well, which is the best engineering school on your list. But from the looks of it you’re not applying for engineering?

I think you have really good chances. You ECs are very good and your ACT is now fine (the 32) Your GPA is also quite good.
Best of Luck to you!

chance me back please!
