I'm pretty happy right now after getting my October SAT scores. I improved 100 points from the last time. My current best scores are: CR 670, M 630 W 650. I already applied Early Decision with the Candidate's Choice App, so what do you think my chances are? (By the way, I have approximately a 3.6 GPA, a great activities list and a truly awesome essay).

bumping, someone please respond

You should be fine. I don't see why they wouldn't let you in with a 1300.

Cool thanks. I really hope I get in.

I don't know how your school compares to ours, but everyone with SATs over 1350 got in. (No one had 1300) Half the kids with over 1200 got in. The average GPA was 95 weighted. It looks like the SAT count more than the GPA judging from the acceptences at our school.

That's interesting. From my school only 2 people are applying to RPI. The one besides me has the Medal and will get in. I wonder how that'll affect my chances.

In my son's high school class, 3 applied, all were accepted and are attending. My son was a medal recipient.

Yeah, your math section, which counts the most, is a little low, but if you do have a good EC list, then I'd you have a pretty good chance. (although I'm not sure exactly, since early admissions did grow by 120% this year)
