I'm applying to
1. UPenn
2. Columbia
3. Yale
4. Northwestern
5. Purdue
6. Pittsburgh

I'm sure that I'll be in for the last two but the other four are tossups, with Yale maybe being unlikely.

Chances at these schools? And how much will it help me to pay around 25K a year to Upenn or Northwestern vs 9K at Purdue? will the prestige and quality factor in that much when applying to grad school?

Thank you everyone

Oh and lastly, for the common app essay would it be ok for me to write about my growth as a speech team member from freshman to senior year? looking at the possible topics this would probably fit under "other" but I'm not sure if i should pursue it since my strongest EC's are also regarding Speech.
