What schools do you suggest? I'm leaning towards urban schools, public, large, good pre-med program, good research schools... What's the highest I can aim for?

omg, so sorry, idk whats wrong w/ my comp.

oh, and national honor society (arista), NYS science honor society

Hmmmm, it’s kind of hard to say without an actual SAT score (sometimes projections are just a little bit too high), but I think you’ve got a great shot at all those school…youre chances are slimmer at the UCs and Notre Dame, but it’s not like they’re out of reach. Good luck!

Since you don’t have a real SAT score, can’t give out a great prediction ,but I think most of them are great shots except Cal and ND, those are some reaches, and Cal will be MUCH harder considering you’re out of state…

Thank you MAB and ivers0n.

Can anyone recommend some good schools? I’m leaning towards public colleges, although I can do private colleges. I prefer urban schools which are strong in pre-med and where undergrads can do some decent research. Or any schools that are good in general, I’m not picky :P

AHA… got the weighted GPA: 4.01

NYU
UMich
BU
UCSD
UNC Chapel Hill

thanks for the suggestions, radio. Sounds good!

You’'re definitely into Stony and places like it… Sophie is also a reach and remember focus there is also on the interview.

berkeley is more likely a gamble

with a psat of 205, a projected 2300 does not seem realistic. Your ECs are balanced and diverse. I’ll chance you for the schools I feel confident in, there are some I do not know much about.

Northeastern - Match
UC Berkeley - Match/Low Reach
Boston U - Match
Macaulay honors - no idea
UCLA - no idea
SUNY Geneseo, Stony Brook, Syracuse - no idea
Notre Dame- Match
Penn State - Reach

Yeah, I didn’t study for the PSAT, but am hard at work preparing for the SAT.
