Hey would the fact that I go to Townsend Harris HS (which has a partnership and is on Queens College), taken several Queens College courses, and committed a lot of time to one of their bio labs be a major plus in their eyes? Also, is Queens College good for the biomedical sciences/ pre med?

Also, I'm planning on entering a few science research and art competitions that don't get results until the winter/spring. Could I still send in my achievements after the deadline to schools?

WILL CHANCE BACK :D

Johns Hopkins - Low Reach/High Match
Colgate
University of Michigan
NYU - Match
Sophie Davis**
Brooklyn College’s BA/MD program
Fordham - Safety
Stony Brook - Safety
Binghamton - Safety
Macaulay Honors (still can’t decide between Brooklyn, City, and Queens) - I’m not too familiar with VUNY despite being from the Long Island area. Sorry.

I don’t know much about Colgate or UMich but I would say you’re in at UMich. The Valedictorian of my school last year went there for business school, which is supposedly really hard to get into but other than than, I’ve heard it’s not too bad. Honestly, the only one on that list that might give you trouble is JHU but still, I’d say you have a very good chance there

Chance me!
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/812739-chance-me-mit-columbia-more-will-chance-back.html</a></p>

Johns Hopkins- probably a middle reach to a target because their application process is strange. . .I think they pride themselves on rejecting people with perfect scores. . .
Colgate- don’t know about it.
University of Michigan- You’ll get in here although it’s tougher from out of state.
NYU- definitely.
Sophie Davis- no idea what this is.
Brooklyn College’s BA/MD program- MD programs are super tough. . .you’ll get into the college, but probably not the MD prgm.
Fordham- definitely.
Stony Brook- don’t know what this is.
Binghamton- probably.
Macaulay Honors (still can’t decide between Brooklyn, City, and Queens)- don’t know.

Your college list looks good, could use more reaches as you look like a strong student! Return the favor and chance me!

sprevite… link?
EDIT/ nvm found it…

I think your looking good for all of these schools othen than maybe Johns Hopkins which is almost Ivy level and therefore…I shot in the dark for anybody!..but even there ur stats look amazing! Your challenging yourself at a great school and have awesome numbers. As long as you let your personality shine through in ur essays your good for almost anywhere! Id even consider taking a stab at a few more reach/elite schools just to see if you can sneak an acceptance in. good luck!

chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/812675-p-third-power-last-chance-before-i-hit-submit.html</a></p>

“Creative Communications Poetic Power- Selected for Publication (in the end I did not want it published)”

OMG they selected my poem too!

Colgate- Match
University of Michigan- possible, but can you pay the bill for an OOS public?
NYU- match
Sophie Davis- ?
Brooklyn College- ?
Fordham- high safety
Stony Brook- safety
Binghamton- high safety
Macaulay Honors (still can’t decide between Brooklyn, City, and Queens)- ?

Obviously, I don’t know much about NY schools, but I did look closely Colgate.

Chance me back? I’m sorry that my information is spread out over two threads:
