ur stats are awesome, i think u will get into most of ur schools and ur an outstanding applicant so just make ur essays stellar and u will be fine :)

African American + 1500 SAT + top 3 students + great ECs = very good admission chances everywhere, including decent shots at the Ivies

It’s kind of hard to beat a 4.0, don’t you think? Why don’t you try reading the post next time instead of skimming it hoping for a return chance?

Anyone else out there who’d like to offer their opinion? I’m kind of worried about Macaulay, Georgetown, and Columbia. Could someone help me out with that??

Please???

when you’re competing with an applicant pool that is as talented and qualified as those that apply to Columbia, Georgetown, etc. it’s hard to determine just by reading the objective parts of your app whether you will get in or not. You are certainly just about as qualified as they come, but make sure your essays are absolutely outstanding. Choose a subject you are passionate about or that is unique to you. Make yourself stand out. Your URM status will help though.

Also, why did you retake your SATII Lit? honestly, I don’t think they distinguish much between an 800 and a 790. There’s not much room for you to improve…

Best of luck!~

update
I just got my SAT II scores back. Math II improved (if you can call being in the 63rd percentile “improving”) to a 700, and Lit was just terrible. So I’ll send in the 790 for Lit and the 700 for Math II.

That aside, would anyone else like to chance me?? I do chance back! :)
