I don't disagree but your stats are superb for anyone, and whenever the URM thing comes up, people seem to avoid posting, or the thread devolves into an affirmative action debate. Saying African American will definitely increase your views though. Anyway, best wishes. I have a close friend, an African American woman who went to Brown, and then to medical school with me at Howard. This was many, many years ago.

^^what are you talking about...NO ONE has a 100% chance of getting in...while i do believe the odds are in the OP favor...you can never assume its a guarantee esp at ivy's and other top schools... what it appears is that your pretty pathetic and jealous..

Look, if anything my school works against me. I have to compete against everyone in my grade! Believe me, my stats are nothing compared to the rest of them. And look, I'm not trolling or anything. These are my stats, but I have my doubts. My ECs are weak, if you didn't notice. I'm not a stellar athlete either. Stop being ****ing bitter. It's not like I sat on my ass for four years and the grades came magically. Also, it's not like I chose to be a minority for the sole purpose of stealing spots away from all the other races. I'm sorry that the 5% of African-Americans are "stealing" your spots. I'm like every other person on this board -- nervous out of my mind. I just want a little clarity, as do most people who are on this site.
