Possibly doing Camp CEO over the summer, which would help tremendously in starting my own business. I hope to become fluent in Spanish and Latin by the end of High school. Ideas for getting into schools like this one?

You sound like a pretty chill young student, but it's kind of difficult to "chance" you because you lack any sort of academic stats (e.g. SAT results, ACT results, a class rank, a class GPA).

Once you get solid numbers, you sound like you will be a great candidate for admission!

thanks! My GPA is 3.8584 Weighted, so I will be working to get that up. Thanks a bunch!

You have had a pretty solid start to high school, but you have to remember that your junior year is probably the most important academically. If you keep up the good work you should have the scores and the stats for a strong application.

As for awards, its hard to give advice on how to accumulate those. Does your school have an annual underclassman awards ceremony? Also, you'll have a shot at things like National Honors Society and National Merit next year.

Mac puts a lot of emphasis on your essays, too. If you can convey how much you really love the school without being trite, and if you show that you genuinely do want to make a difference in your field of interest... that will set you apart more than a GPA. And if you are offered an interview, TAKE IT. I had a really great interview with my regional admissions officer and I think that definitely helped me get admitted.

Good to know. Ill keep that in mind when I'm writing my essays.

Mac prizes civic and intellectual engagement and internationalism. Are these your interests as well? Think about if you and the college are a good fit and, if so, how that will be demonstrated in your application.
