Chance an anxious international student

<p>This is my first post here in CC
I'm a korean student studying in an IB school in Indonesia.
Basically i'm the top1-2% in my class (though my school doesnt rank)
I struggled in doing my SAT, my highest single sitting is 1870 (700M, 570W, 600CR and 680M, 590CR, 600W ), and 1910 Superscore (it's low)
My GPA (FULL IB), is 36-38/42 and 38-40/45 </p>

<p>I've got good to great Teacher recs, and several ECs which include :
School body vice president
Basketball Vice captain
Scholarship in Junior Highschool
Credit for Australian Mathematics Competition
Church worship leader
Church youth president
Habitat for humanity
Cashier Work Experience
and many more</p>

<p>My target schools are (business):
Uchicago
UCBerkeley
UCLA (econ)
USC
BU
Uwisconsin Madison
UT austin
Umich-ann arbor</p>

<p>Can anyone chance me please? I'm just too anxious that i wont get into any single one
AND i didnt apply for financial aID!
I really want to get into one especially UCLA :(</p>

<p>You should post this in the Chances thread since your post doesn’t relate specifically to UCLA.</p>

<p>The UC system does not accept letters of recommendation, for the record. And most private schools ask for two. </p>

<p>Your extracurriculars are solid; if you’ve been consistently active in them throughout HS, then that would be even better.</p>

<p>I don’t know anything about IB (sorry), but if everything else about your application is strong, then your lower-than-usual SAT scores shouldn’t make that big of a difference.</p>

<p>I would say you’ve got a decent chance for Berkeley, UCLA, and USC (which loves international students). I don’t know about the other schools (sorry) because I don’t know anything about them. U of Chicago is reputed to have the best economics program in the United States, just so you know.</p>
