Wow! Great job. I think you will be admitted to both William and Mary and UVA.

Best of luck,
Pedsox

:) Thanks for the reply. I am crossing my fingers!

I thought UVA and W&M would be harder to get into than Bowdoin and GTown for out-of-state, though.

...and definitely harder than Bucknell and F&M

You have an excellent shot at all schools. Impressive stats! Good luck!

Looking at Georgetown (early-college) - high match
Middlebury - in
Williams - in
Bowdoin - in
UVA - high match
William and Mary - match
Bucknell - in
Franklin and Marshall - not sure
Dartmouth - low reach
Yale (legacy) - low reach

Chance me as well? :) http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/585943-art-chance-let-s-see-artistic-prowess-chance-me-rice-others.html

I agree with the above poster except with Williams, Dartmouth and Yale. No top Ivy is ever a low reach, and Williams is a very tough school. I'd say you are a very strong applicant for all the aformentioned schools, and i'd be suprised if you weren't accepted at Georgetown early.

Chances?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/585610-chances-so-so-sat-scores-top-schools.html

Thanks guys!

What do you think my weaknesses are?

Williams is significantly harder to get into for a non-athlete than William and Mary and Virginia. Also tougher to get into in many cases than Dartmouth.

okay update: i ended up getting 3 b's and 6 a's last semester, which was worse than my straight a's junior year

i got into gtown early and am now waiting on the others (gtown never saw my 1st semester senior grades)

i am most anxious about uva b/c it would be the perfect slightly less expensive school if the others, gtown included, dont work out financially

You are just fine for UVA, and those grades didn't kill your chances at the other schools, mainly because your courseload is very difficult and getting straight A's would be difficult. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
