Schools

UPenn - ED
Northwestern
UMich
Illinois Urbana
Brown
Duke
Cornell
WashU
Chicago

Anyone?

10 char

It seems pretty likely that you could get into all of those schools, considering your stellar ECs and your really good weighted and non-weighted GPAs.
I would say that UPenn is definitely a match, and probably Illinois and UMich are safeties. The rest are really, really good possibilities, if not matches.

UIllinois is definitely a safety. Overall, you have an excellent shot at all of them!

Origami = guaranteed acceptance

Writing about your origami interest in your essay would look good seeing as you seem pretty excited about it. GPA is good, rigorous schedule, and SAT is great. I’d say you’re in for Umich, Illinois, WashU. Upenn is never guaranteed but you still have a good chance so it’s worth applying.

Cornell and Brown also go along with Upenn. You have a good chance but you should also have a safety school, which you seem to have.

As unusual as Origami is, it is not likley to blow away any adcoms. A couple of clubs, track and cross country with little leaderhsip in any is going to present a real challenge for you in terms of EC’s to the elite schools. Even with your excellent academics I would suggest that you have challenging admits in front of you:

Penn - Reach
Brown - Reach
Duke - Low Reach
Northwestern - Low Reach
Chicago - Low Reach

Cornell - High Match/Low Reach
WashU - High Match/Low Reach

UMich - Safety
Illinois Urbana - Safety

^Agreed. Also, you might want to take some SAT IIs.

^^ I agree, but would put cornell higher and washu lower

you need to take SAT IIs
