<p>Hi, I am a senior at one of Maryland's most competitive public schools (National Blue Ribbon) and I will be applying to Wash U, Dartmouth, Cornell, Penn State (Schreyer Honors College), McGill, and Elon. Please chance me, and I will do that same for you! Cheers!</p>

<p>Citizenship: Citizen of the UK and New Zealand</p>

<p>SAT: I took the SAT once before with a score of 2050 (760 W, 670 CR, 620 M), but I have practiced a LOT since that time with a an average overall total of 2320 (800 W, 770 CR, 750 M). I'm taking the November Test. </p>

<p>SAT II: Bio M 740, Math II 680, Lit 680. Retaking Math II, Lit, and Chem for the first time. </p>

<p>GPA: W: 4.36 UW: 3.76 School gives +1 credit for G/T and AP and +.5 for honors. I had 2 B's Freshman year, 3 B's Sophomore year, and all A's Junior year. </p>

<p>Class Rank: 2nd decile. (The cutoff for top 10% was around a 4.56 W) </p>

<p>I have taken/will take the following AP exams: United States Government & Politics (3); Biology (5); Calculus AB (5); World History (4); English Language (4); Calculus BC; English Literature; Physics-Mechanics; French Language; Chemistry; Music Theory (self-study); Environmental Science (self-study). </p>

<p>Leadership:
-Lead Critic of Cappies Team
-4 Leading Roles in Musicals
-President of Madrigals
-Director of Men's A Cappella
-Warden of Service of National Honor Society
-Secretary of Tri-M
-Historian of French Honor Society</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
-I have been in 23 musicals since 6th grade, and have starred in quite a few of them.
-I sing, and play piano, guitar, and saxophone.
-I have been nominated for numerous acting and writing Cappie awards, and won the "rising critic" award.
-I have bicycled a 100 mile race in one day.
-I sing and manage a student-run barbershop.
-I sing and play in a band.
-I do 180+ service hours a year.
-I have collaborated on an original musical.
-I was in a student-run musical that gave all proceeds to "Broadway fights AIDS."</p>

<p>If you don’t get in, nobody will. I would apply for the honors college. Unless you want to for other schools, your SAT is good enough now.</p>

<p>It is hard to chance for the SHC. The SHC staff is blind to your standard test scores and their choice to admit you or not will be based on the SHC application (letters of rec, essays, etc). Submit some stellar letters of rec and write some good essays then I would say you have a pretty good chance on getting into the Schreyer Honors College.</p>
