So both my parents went to ND as international graduates (traveling from China, they met at ND and married), as did my aunt and her husband (aka my uncle). With so many alumni relatives, I've always regarded ND as a shoe-in safety, but after reading some of the posts about how legacies have just about the same chance as normal applicants, I'm getting VERY worried...does anyone think I'm still relatively competitive for ND? Haven't really looked into it as my parents don't contribute $$ to ND and I just always knew I would apply, regardless, just because all my relatives went here.

Also, let it be known that I am NOT Catholic and am pretty liberal. Which makes ND not my very first choice, but I know they are very accepting and open, so it's still a high option.
