Washington and Lee
Wake Forest
Richmond

Emory <------ any shot at these two?

anyone???

Bucknell-match
Colgate-reach(your grades, hope you have an upward trend)
Wake Forest-match
Claremont-unlikely
Not enough knowledge of the others, good luck.

You might want to post your classes and grades by year, and then we might be able to do better than a blind guess. For instance OldbatesieDoc thanks your a match for Wake and I find that unlikely with a GPA 3.3 / 3.5 W

Freshman year doesn’t factor into our GPA and isn’t reported

Sophomore

Junior

Spanish B+ or A-
AP Chem A
Honors Trig A-
History A
Ceramics 2 A

Next year i’m taking
AP Bio

Ceramics 3 <---- does continuity with ceramics look good??

bumppppppppppp

What more do you want? People with chance threads are always freaking out… No one can really tell you anything other than what has already said. Just stay focused in school. It looks like you need to be worried about Spanish, not college atm.

My son’s stats are similar to yours. (ACT is a smidge lower, GPA is bit higher). He just got into Wake Forest. Was accepted early to Elon with merit aid. Still waiting on Laf and Richmond. I’ll let you know how he does.

In any case, I think you’ve picked a good batch of schools.

Right, with your scores, you look a bit lazy, better make sure you have an upward trend and better do something worthwhile this summer.

yea OldbatesieDoc, i am a bit of a procrastinator, and i have ADD which doesn’t help

I agree “I think you’ve picked a good batch of schools”.

I think you have a chance at any of your schools.

Work on your GPA.

Does continuity with ceramics look good?? - Yes if your doing something with it, like having your work shown, or intend to explain your passion.

And Totally agree with OldbatesieDoc “better do something worthwhile this summer”.

Oh and one last thing - “Freshman year doesn’t factor into our GPA and isn’t reported” - Wrong, each college decides what they count and don’t count and the recalculates your GPA based on their formula… And most include freshman grades.

PS: Keep up the good work…
